Happy Friday!
It’s time for two truths and a lie. Here are three headlines from the past week, but one is fake. Your time to guess!
Oh, and we have a theme this week: fast-food restaurants.
Subway has offered a lifetime of free sandwiches if you legally change your first name to 'Subway'.
Domino’s has removed Peri Peri sauce from its menu due to a Sriracha shortage.
Taco Bell is being sued for not putting enough beef on its Mexican Pizza.
The answer is in the tidbit!

Some headlines from this morning:
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has appeared before a judge in a Washington courthouse to plead not guilty to four charges that he conspired to overturn the U.S. election in 2020. These are the third set of criminal charges Trump is facing, but the first relating to the election denial.
Legislation to allow people to renew scripts for the pill at pharmacies – rather than a GP – has passed in Victoria. The law will also allow Victorians to get medicine for UTIs and minor skin conditions at a pharmacy. It will come into effect in October.

Human remains have been found in waters near the site of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) helicopter crash that killed four crew last week.
ADF Chief of Joint Operations Lieutenant General Greg Bilton has confirmed a remote-operated underwater vehicle located the remains on Wednesday.
"Positive identification of the remains is unlikely to occur until we recover more of the wreckage," he said.
Further details:
The four men have been identified as Captain Danniel Lyon, Lieutenant Maxwell Nugent, Warrant Officer Class 2 Joseph Laycock and Corporal Alexander Naggs.
A search was launched after the MRH-90 Taipan went down off the Whitsundays last Friday, during a routine training exercise.
On Monday, Defence Minister Richard Marles said "any hope" of finding the crew alive had been lost.
The recovery operation:
On Thursday, Bilton confirmed parts of the aircraft and cockpit found indicate a "debris field" consistent with "a catastrophic, high impact" crash.
The helicopter's black box (an indestructible device that records the details of a flight) has not yet been found.
"It's a difficult task but we will do our absolute best to find it – the black box is critical to helping us to understand what's actually taken place," Bilton said.

Victoria's wage theft watchdog has accused Woolworths of underpaying more than 1,200 of its staff over $1 million between 2018 and 2021.
The alleged underpayments relate to long service leave, with some workers missing out on over $12,000 in pay.
Woolworths said it self-reported payroll issues to the Victorian Wage Inspectorate last year, after a review of its systems and processes.
Further details:
Most Victorian workers are entitled to a period of paid leave after seven continuous years of employment at one business.
Employees are also entitled to any unused long-service leave pay when they leave the business.
Woolworths' subsidiary Woolstar (a wool company) is also alleged to have withheld over $45,000 in long service pay to 36 former employees.
The response:
Woolworths has made back payments and corrected leave balances for affected team members since detecting the errors.
They've apologised to affected staff and say they've "strengthened" their payroll systems.
Wage Inspectorate Commissioner Robert Hortle said the number of underpayments "never tells the full story" and that workers had been initially denied time with "family, travelling or just relaxing".
The court case:
The Wage Inspectorate this week filed over 1,000 charges in the Victorian Magistrates' Court over the alleged underpayments.
The maximum penalty for the offences could reach millions of dollars.
The matter will be heard in court next month.

We're all familiar with the importance of physical activity for a healthy life. However, let's not forget that, just like we nourish our bodies with exercise and good food, social interaction is equally as important for our well-being. According to a survey of 18-25 year olds, 81% admitted they considered their screen time to be "unhealthy."
Alongside VicHealth's Reality Check, we're here to remind you: prioritise those face-to-face moments!
Life can get busy, and sometimes, our social lives can take a hit. So, lock in those regular coffee catch-ups and trivia nights. It may sound simple, but it has a huge impact on your physical and mental well-being!
A TDA tidbit

Subway is offering a lifetime of free sandwiches if you legally change your first name to 'Subway'.
This is true.
The fast food restaurant company announced it would give away a lifetime of free sandwiches (valued at $US50,000) to a U.S. citizen whose first name is legally changed to “Subway”.
To qualify, applicants need to "commit" to making the name change (the cost of which will be covered by Subway). The contest was open for three days and ends today. Unfortunately, it’s only open to residents of the U.S.
Domino’s has removed Peri Peri sauce from its menu due to a Sriracha shortage.
This is false. It obviously would have caused an uproar if it was true.
Taco Bell is being sued for not putting enough beef on its Mexican Pizza.
This is true.
A lawsuit filed in the Eastern District of New York has accused Taco Bell of “materially [overstating] the amount of beef and/or ingredients contained in its advertisements…by at least double the amount”.
The class action suit claims that the company's "unfair and deceptive trade practices" pose a particular concern now that consumers are struggling with inflation and rising food prices.
It was filed by plaintiff Frank Siragusa on behalf of anyone who has purchased one of the “overstated menu items” from a Taco Bell in the state of New York since July 31, 2020.
